SOHO HOME

A one-week residency that brought the woven process into an interior setting. Hosted at Soho Home, the installation opened up the studio process in real time - from handwork and materials to the digital life story behind each piece.

  • Martina Spetlova joined Soho House in London for a week-long residency as part of the Sarabande Foundation, transforming the space with an installation that brought her distinct approach to craftsmanship and transparency to life. The residency offered a unique, behind-the-scenes look at Martina’s process—from the ethically sourced materials to the intricate handwoven techniques, inviting members to engage directly with her work and discover the stories woven into every piece.

SKFK STUDIO

A capsule collaboration translating the woven language into knit. The project brought together bold surface, colour composition and a shared commitment to considered making.

Known for her bold, handwoven leather creations, Martina draws on her background in biochemistry to bring a unique, experimental approach to sustainable design. Crafted from metal-free leather and repurposed materials, the installation is a vibrant celebration of craftsmanship, innovation, and environmental consciousness—a woven vessel of storytelling and transformation.
